Should Sid the Kid Retire?

Odds

Pittsburgh Penguins (-175) vs. Montreal Canadiens (+155)

Preview

Is this the end of an era for Crosby and the Penguins? If they lose to this Habs squad they may as well blow up their team. However, with their experience in the playoffs, I know they won't panic just yet. They have already announced a goalie change from Matt Murray to Tristian Jarry. This will hope to provide a spark to a Penguins team that needs a win in Game 4 to keep their season alive. Also, the Penguins need to be MUCH better defensively to help their offense out, so if they can tighten up back there they will win this series. Hopefully, hothead Letang won't blow too many coverages and start to make an impact in this series.

The Habs are on cloud 9 right now. No one expected them to be up 2-1 in this series after 3 games, but great goaltending can take you a long way if bounces go your way. Carey Price has been outstanding in this series and it looks like he's on a mission. Also, as we all expected, NHL's top sniper Jeff Petry has been clutch in this series with a couple of game winning goals. The Habs can send a shockwave to the NHL by sending the Penguins home in Game 4.

Prediction

I predict the Penguins will pull through in this game. They have too much star power and experience to allow the Habs to finish them off. Look for Jarry to have a big performance and solidify himself as the starter for the Penguins for the rest of the playoffs. Crosby and Malkin will carry the Penguins upfront in this game with a dominant Game 4 and force a Game 5 winner-take-all game.

Picks

Hammer the Penguins Moneyline at -175, there's no way they lose this game
