NHL is Back! Saturday easy money Parlay!
This Saturday, August 1st the NHL is official back from COVID-19 with a five-game slate starting at noon eastern time. They are not wasting any time with regular-season games, as they are skipping right into playoff (play-in) games. So I'm not going to waste any of your time either, let's get into my three-game easy money parlay for Saturday.
Put down a full stack on this parlay and you walking away with an easy 4400!
Carolina Hurricanes (6) vs New York Rangers (11)
The first game of the day features the Rangers vs the Hurricanes, with the latter team being dominated and losing all four games in their season series. I expect the offense players to dominate the early games of the play-ins as goalies and defensemen shake off the rust of a four-month layoff since real games have been played. MVP candidate Artemi Panarin will be leading the Rangers high flying offense against a weakened Hurricanes D-core as two top defenseman Dougie Hamilton and Brett Pesce will both be out for this game.
Pick: Rangers scoring forces upset over Hurricanes, take the underdog at +105
Edmonton Oilers (5) vs Chicago Blackhawks (12)
Do I even have to break this one down .......
Ignoring the pixelated gif I made of Kane running away from McDavid, the Oilers are heavy favourite coming into this one. They are favourites for good reason though, as the Blackhawks defensive play has been non-existent all season long and they going up against the top two scorers in the NHL. So unless Seabrook finds a time machine and comes back in prime form to save the Blackhawks I don't see this going well for them.
Pick: Don't overthink this one.... take the Oilers at -155
Pittsburgh Penguins (5) vs Montreal Canadiens (12)
The last game of the easy money parlay features another mismatch on paper with the 5th ranked Penguins taking on the 12th ranked Canadiens. The Penguins are a veteran team filled with talent, where the Canadiens are a young team filled with possibilities. But I don't think it's possible they win this game, as, In their lone exhibition game against the Leafs the Canadiens' reminded everyone how dreadful their special teams and ability to create offense is.
Pick: Crosby and a "Still Young" Malkin are just too much... take Pittsburgh at -165
This Saturday put all three picks together for some easy money in your pockets.
