NFL Week 17: Late Afternoon Games- BIG MONEY PARLAY

Week 17 is guaranteed to be a shitshow in the NFL with Covid spreading and teams resting players. But, we have a big money parlay in the late afternoon games that can more than TRIPLE your money. Here's the 3 leg parlay...

Late Afternoon Games

Los Angelas Rams (-105) vs. Arizona Cardinals (-115)

The Rams trouble on offense should continue this week with QB Jared Goff, WR Cooper Kupp, as well as RB's Cam Akers (gametime decision) and Darrell Henderson out of the lineup. Backup QB John Wolford has never taken a snap in the NFL and he will be going up against a desperate Cardinals team fighting for the last playoff spot. We'll see how offensive minded 'Genius' Sean McVay plays this game with the injuries on offense because we know the Rams defense will most likely have to win them this game.

For the Cardinals, QB Kyler Murray is playing, but it's evident that he's playing hurt. He started the year off hot, but a nagging injury is holding him back as of late at the worst possible time. The Cardinals are coming off of a big loss to the San Fransisco 49ers in week 16 in a game where their offense was stagnant. The key matchup this week will be between WR DeAndre Hopkins and CB Jalen Ramsey as Hopkins struggled last week with only 48 receiving yards. If the Cardinals don't win this game... they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. I think they should be able to do enough against a depleted Rams offense to pull off the victory, and hope that the Bears lose to the Packers.

Prediction: Cardinals MONEYLINE (-115)

Chicago Bears (+180) vs. Green Bay Packers (-220)

The Bears are in control of their playoff lives, but there's only one issue... they have to beat the best team in the NFC. The Packers are still playing for that #1 seed in the NFC and a first round bye, so they will be determined to play their hearts out. The resurgence of the Bears has been led by QB Mitch Trubisky, who can save his starting position for next year if he manages to lead the Bears to the postseason. The Bears have won 3 straight games and are getting hot at the right time. Their defense is very good, but they'll have their work cut out for them against Rodgers and the Packers stacked offense.

The Packers are 12-3 on the season and just dismantled the Tennessee Titans in week 16 by a score of 40-14. QB Aaron Rodgers is having an MVP season and the Packers are looking like a complete team on both sides of the ball. There's only 1 bye spot available this season, and the Packers are 1 win away from securing it and getting that much needed extra week of rest. With that being said, the Bears are a good story with the play of Trubisky, but I don't see him matching the output of Rodgers in this game. The Packers defense will be able to force turnovers and allow Rodgers to run away on the scoreboard. The Packers are the most favoured team in our big money parlay this week.

Prediction: Packers MONEYLINE (-220)

Denver Broncos (+125) vs. Las Vegas Raiders (-145)

The Broncos are thankful the season is almost over and they can regroup for next year. Injuries have been the main storyline for them on both sides of the ball. Also. QB Drew Lock hasn't looked like a franchise QB yet in the NFL, but he will get one more shot this season to prove his worth. If the Broncos can find their solution at QB, they will be a tough team to deal with next year if they are healthy. The Broncos will look at avenge the 37-12 loss the Raiders handed them earlier in the season.

You know Coach Gruden doesn't want to lose the last game of the season to one of their division rivals. The Raiders have failed to make the playoffs once again, and there will be a lot of pressure on them next year to finally breakthrough. However, they have shown glimpses of a good team as Carr and the Raiders defeated the Kansas City Chiefs earlier in the season, so they have proved that they can compete with the best. They had a heartbreaking 'last second' loss to the Miami Dolphins in week 16, so I expect them to come out hard in the last game of the season and cap off their first season in Las Vegas with a win. If not.... Will Gruden be on the hot seat???

Prediction: Raiders MONEYLINE (-145)

Money Parlay: Cardinals + Packers + Raiders = (+359)
