NFL Best Bets for week 15 (1 pm edition)!

Going into week 15 things are about to get extra frisky. Playoff hopes, coach's jobs, next year's roster spot, and your fucking money is all on the line today. I need you to lock in cause I know I am. Don't get cute, trust your instincts (or mine if you don't trust yours) and let's make some bets.

Seattle Seahawks at Washington Football Team

Odds

Prediction

The Washington Football Team's defense is very scary right now and leading the way is the monster pictured above in rookie DE Chase Young. Washington is leading the division and has an excellent opportunity to take this young team to the playoffs. Now that was before Alex Smith got ruled out and starting in his place...Dwayne Haskins. The Seahawks took it to the Jets, as the offense is fully healthy and Russ Wilson may be getting back to his early-season MVP form just in time for the playoffs. Dwayne Haskins starting and Antonio Gibson is doubtful, so no matter how scary Chase Young is, Washington is going to have a tough time keeping up with the Seahawks in this one.

Seahawks -6.5 (115)

San Franciso 49ers at Dallas Cowboys

Odds

Prediction

Two teams facing off who both lost their season due to injuries. The Dallas Cowboys were struggling before Dak went down but since his injury, they have not shown any signs of life until last week's game against the lowly Bengals. The 49ers on the other hand have impressed with how competitive they still are even with injuries to multiple key players. The majority of the 49ers' big wins come against teams that rely on the run and it's no secret that the Cowboys like to run the ball with Zeke. Add in the Cowboys subpar run defense and the 49ers should literally run away with the game. I may be sorry for that line but not my pick.

49ers -3 (-120)

New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins

Odds

Prediction

The Patriots are on their last lifeline in regards to their playoff hopes and will need to ball out against the stingy Dolphins defense. The Patriots will be without RB Damien Harris who has been impressive when he has played this season, so QB Cam Newton and RB Sony Michel will have to pick up the slack in the rushing department. The Dolphins' offense will most likely be without TE Mike Gesicki, and he will be missed if he's out as Tua has been looking for him almost every time they are in the RedZone. The Patriots struggled against an elite Rams defense and could have similar struggles against the Dolphins. Look for the Dolphins' playmakers on defense to continue to make plays and the offense to do just enough to win the game.

Dolphins -1.5 (-110)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons

Odds

Prediction

The Bucs are coming off a somewhat dominant win. From the outside, it looks like they took care of the Vikings with ease but in reality, the Vikings controlled the clock for most of the game, and if it wasn't for kicker Dan Bailey's Mental breakdown (0-3 FG) the Vikings may have had a chance to win. The Falcons on the other hand are just waiting for the season to be over at this point as they became the first team in NFL history to lose a one-score game to Anthony Lynn and the Chargers (may have to double-check that stat). Julio Jones out for this game and the Bucs strong run D is going to make moving the ball very hard for Matt Ryan and the Falcons. Add that Bucs are starting to build chemistry on offense, I see the Buccaneers pulling away in this game by at least a TD.

Buccaneers -6.5 (-110)

Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts

Odds

Prediction

TY Hilton might be good again, Johnathan Tylor finally looked like the super rookie RB everyone thought he would be, and Phillip Rivers' arm hasn't fallen off yet. The Indianapolis Colts are on top of the world right. Colts are coming off a dominant win of the Raiders and are taking on a similarly bad defense in the Houston Texans. The Texans were one bad snap away from beating the Colts two weeks ago, as every loss they get is killing Deshaun Waston just a little bit more inside. Though the last game was close, the Texans just keep losing players on both sides of the ball, and add in they have a bottom-five run defense, the Colts are set up to feast in this one. Colts close out the season series in dominant fashion.

Colts -7.5 (-105)
