Monday Night NBA Games Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions!

Grizzlies vs Pelicans - 6:30 pm ET

In an important battle for the last playoff spot in the western conference, two teams off to equally slow starts in the bubble (both 0-2) square off. The Pelicans come into this one as 4.5 point favourites with the Grizzlies being on a "back-to-back" and losing both games in their season series. Back-to-backs shouldn't have too big of an impact in this one considering there is no travel involved in the bubble. The Grizzlies are also very good on no days rest as they have a 7-3 record this season with limited drop off in the majority of their key stats. The Pelicans come into this game as a work in progress, Zion's minutes are expected to still be limited and when he is on the court the team has not found a lineup that offers effective spacing to help create a more consistent offense.

Pick: The Pelicans play at the second-fastest pace in the NBA but have been turning over the ball non-stop, look for Grizzlies to keep it close and even win the game.

Take Grizzlies at +4.5(-115)

Spurs vs 76ers - 8 pm ET

76ers come into this one as clear favourites and for good reason. Spurs will be without LaMarcus Aldridge, playing on no days rest, and the 76ers coming off a rough loss to the Pacers with TJ Warren dropping 53 on their ass. The combination of lots of skilled bigs on 76ers and basically one healthy big on the Spurs to cover them on no days rests leads me to believe this could be a long game for the Spurs.

Pick: Look for an angry 76ers team and Joel Embiid coming off a loss to dominate the spurs.

Take 76ers at -7(-110)

Lakers vs Jazz 9 pm ET

The Lakers are coming off a loss, where they got embarrassed on prime time television by the Raptors. The Raptors stifling defense limited Lebron James and Anthony Davis to a combined 34 points and the Lakers as a whole to just 92 total points. Add in the questions Lebron had to answer about how good the Raptors actually are... look for him and the Lakers to be quite motivated and have a bounce-back performance. The Jazz, on the other hand, barely beat the Pelicans with Zion sleeping on the bench and then just got dismantled by the OKC Thunder. The Bogdanovic injury is effecting their offense more than most people would think, as there floor spacing and outside scoring has been very limited with him out of the lineup.

Pick: A motivated Lebron vs a team that is having trouble scoring, take the Lakers in this one.

Take Lakers at -6.5(-115)
