Nashville Predators vs. Arizona Coyotes Odds, Prediction and Picks!
Nashville Predators (-135) vs. Arizona Coyotes (+115)
The Coyotes won 4-1 in Game 3, but that scoreline doesn't tell the whole story. The Predators outshot the Coyotes 40-28 and Kuemper had to stand on his head in the first period to keep them in the game. Then, in the 3rd period, the Coyotes blew the game wide open by scoring 3 goals. We are still yet to see Nick Schmaltz in this series after getting injured in the exhibition game, and it is unknown if he will suit up on Friday. Also, cheeseburger Phil has yet to score in this series and he tends to be a streaky scorer. So, the Coyotes are hoping he will put a few in the back of the net soon.
On the other side, the Predators will be fighting for their playoff lives on Friday.
Despite being down 2-1, I still believe the Predators are outplaying the Coyotes in this series, but the breaks haven't gone their way so far. However, the Predators will need some secondary scoring if they want to extend this series because their top line of Forsberg-Johansen-Arvidsson has carried them so far. I am looking for Matt Duchene to improve his play and earn his money because he is usually a let down for all the talent he has.
The Predators will jump on the Coyotes early in this one and won't take their foot off the gas. Even though the past suggests that Duchene will be a letdown once again, I am going to predict he SHOWS UP in Game 4 and earns his 8 Million per year salary. Will we see Pekka Rinne in this one? If we do I will expect him to play his heart out to reclaim his spot in the crease. Predators all the way.
Take the Predators moneyline at -130 to force a Game 5
