McJesus must lead the Way

.....The Oilers again come into this one as favourites.

No teeth no problem

After scoring two in goals in for a third-period comeback in game 3 the Blackhawks have put the Oilers on the brink of elimination. As a 12 seed coming into the playoffs, no one other than maybe a couple of Blackhawks fans had them winning this series vs the Oilers. The Blackhawks have been lead by captain serious Jonathan Toews and 40-year NHL rookie Dominik Kubalik, ok he's actually 24 but might as well be 40 for how poised he has looked in the playoffs. And on the back end, Duncan Kieth continues to prove you don't need teeth to be a workhorse NHL defensemen playing almost 25 minutes per game.

Two-man Team

The only thing worse than the Oilers' secondary scoring has been their D zone play and goaltending. McDavid and Draisaitl have continued their season dominance in the playoffs with RNH tossing some assist on the side. To be fair the Oilers scoring output has been fine..... but a .835 save percentage out of their goalies and very shakey d zone play has them on the brink of elimination. The Oilers need to stay out the box to limit the time they are stuck defending, as they are much better in the opponent's end of the ice.

Will the chosen one himself Connor McDavid be able to lead this ragtag of hockey team past the Chicago Blackhawks? Even though Toews and Kieth are turning back the clock to their Stanley Cup days, I don't see the Oilers being eliminated today. Expect a more focused Oilers team to cut out the silly mistakes and actually close out the game without blowing their lead.
