Colorado Avalanche vs Dallas Stars Odds, Prediction, and Picks
This game could be quite the wild one with these two teams. Dallas is coming off a game where they dominated the first two periods vs Vegas but then allowed 4 goals against in the third and ended up losing the game 5-3. On the other hand, Colorado is coming off a game where they had a back and forth tightly contested battle against St Louis and ended up needing a Kadri goal with 0.1 seconds left to win the game 2-1.
How Dallas Wins
Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin, and Alexander Radulov put their low scoring season behind them and step up in the second game of the round-robin to lead the offense.
How Colorado Wins
Though Dallas didn't show it in the first game they allowed the second least amount of goals against in the NHL. The Avalanche will either have to take advantage of sloppy mistakes like Vegas did or rely on the offensive creativity of stars like Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar to eventually break through Dallas' tight-checking defense.
Nathan MacKinnon looked very good in game one and really showed why he was nominated for MVP. Considering how much trouble Dallas had with turnovers due to the team speed of Vegas and that Colorado is probably just as fast of a team, I don't see this one going well for Dallas.
All signs point towards Colorado Moneyline being the play (-135)
